A contemporary, inter-media artist, Baiju Parthan is known for his traditional style as well as digital technology based installation art. He is particularly interested in the influence of technology on religious beliefs, genetic engineering and the symbiotic relation between man and machine. Parthan’s technique consists of arcane symbols, found imagery, as well as contemporary photography and computer graphics woven together to create paintings, prints and videos which reveal a dense multi layered phenomenological landscape.
